Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Overview

AppsyOne ("Company," "we," "us") provides custom website development, mobile application development, and related digital services from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing payments, cancellations, and refund eligibility for all engagements with AppsyOne.

2. Nature of Services

Our services are bespoke in nature — each project involves custom design, development, and creative work tailored specifically to the Client's requirements. Once a project commences:

  • Design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes are created and shared with the Client at each milestone
  • Dedicated resources including designers, developers, and project managers are allocated to the project
  • Custom development work is carried out progressively, with deliverables shared at agreed intervals
  • Third-party tools, licences, or services may be procured on behalf of the Client as needed

As the value of our services is delivered progressively throughout the engagement, payments made for commenced work are non-refundable.

3. Payment Structure

Unless otherwise agreed in your project proposal, our standard payment terms are as follows:

  • 50% advance payment — due prior to commencement. This payment secures your project slot, initiates resource allocation, and covers initial planning and design.
  • 50% final payment — due upon project completion, prior to final delivery and deployment.

Both payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Payments are non-refundable in the following circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change in requirements — if the Client wishes to change direction after work has commenced
  • Project cancellation — at any stage after payment and commencement of work
  • Post-approval changes — if the Client requests changes after having approved design mockups or development milestones
  • Business changes — including closure, restructuring, merger, or change in business strategy
  • Client-side delays — if the project is delayed due to late provision of content, feedback, or approvals
  • Scope additions — work requested beyond the originally agreed scope of the project
  • Third-party dependencies — issues arising from hosting, domain, or other third-party services outside our control

5. Cancellation Procedure

Should the Client wish to cancel an ongoing project, the following terms apply:

  • Cancellation must be communicated in writing via email to sales@appsy.one
  • Any outstanding balance for work already completed shall become immediately payable
  • The Client will receive all deliverables completed up to the date of cancellation
  • No refund will be issued for payments already made toward the engagement

6. Revisions

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as outlined in the project proposal. We recommend providing detailed, consolidated feedback during each revision round to ensure the best outcomes. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds may be accommodated at an additional cost, which will be communicated in advance. Charges for additional revisions are also non-refundable.

7. Exceptions

In the unlikely event that AppsyOne is unable to deliver the agreed services due to reasons solely attributable to the Company (and not arising from Client delays, scope changes, or external factors), we may, at our discretion, offer a credit toward future services. Such credit does not constitute a monetary refund and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

8. Payment Disputes

We encourage Clients to reach out to us directly at sales@appsy.one to resolve any payment-related concerns before initiating a chargeback or dispute with their payment provider. Initiating a chargeback after services have been rendered may result in suspension of services and, where applicable, legal action for recovery of dues in the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

10. Acknowledgement

By making a payment to AppsyOne, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Refund & Cancellation Policy. Proceeding with payment constitutes the Client's agreement to the terms set forth herein.
